What is a Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT)?

A Certified Lymphedema Therapist is a professional bodyworker qualified to treat lymphedema and swelling throughout the body. A CLT can also help clients with lipedema, post-surgical edema and other chronic swelling.

A CLT utilizes manual lymph drainage (MLD) to stimulate the lymphatic system and reroute lymph through healthier lymphatic pathways. We also utilize compression, skin care and education to help clients reach their desired goals.

A CLT can help slow the progression of lymphedema allowing clients to remain mobile and active. Experience less pain, less stiffness, lower risk of infections and better surgical outcomes with this gentle technique.
